Volkswagen CEO Oliver Blume said on Tuesday that the conflict in the Middle East does not affect the company's supply chains, but it could impact demand for its luxury brands Audi and Porsche. Blume added: "We simply see how volatile and fragile our world is, with new issues emerging every month." He noted that the conflict could affect sales, which are already modest but have high profit margins. Blume also stated that the United States remains an important market for Volkswagen, but the goal of achieving a 10% market share there is still distant.
