The Social Democratic Party (SPD) revealed today the ministers who will be part of the coalition government led by the conservative bloc headed by the virtual chancellor, Friedrich Merz. Among the selected are Boris Pistorius, who will continue as Minister of Defense, and Lars Klingbeil, co-chair of the social democrats, who will be Vice Chancellor.
Pistorius, who will again occupy the Defense portfolio, expressed: "I am honored to be selected to continue in this important position and work for the security and defense of our country." For his part, Klingbeil expressed enthusiasm for his new role as Vice Chancellor, highlighting the importance of collaboration between both political forces to address current challenges.
The announcement of the ministers by the SPD marks a significant step in the formation of the new coalition government in Germany. This alliance between conservatives and social democrats is expected to provide stability and continuity in managing the country's affairs, as well as promoting dialogue and cooperation in key political decision-making.
