Today, in Berlin, an announcement was made about the signing of the coalition agreement between the conservatives under the leadership of future German Chancellor Friedrich Merz and the Social Democratic Party of the left center.
Merz and representatives of the Social Democratic Party officially signed the agreement on the formation of a new government coalition a day before his taking office.
"We were able to reach an agreement that corresponds to the challenges of our time," Merz noted after signing the document.
