In Berlin, a massive demonstration took place on Sunday, where people expressed their protest against the rise of right-wing and far-right parties three weeks before the parliamentary elections.
About 12,000 people gathered on the streets of the capital to express their discontent after the right-wing conservative party merged with the far-right movement. Many participants of the rally emphasized the danger of this union and expressed concerns about its implications for the political stability of the country.
"We cannot allow extremists to influence the future of our country," said one of the demonstration participants.
Rally participants also called on voters not to succumb to provocation and to uphold democratic values in the upcoming elections. Additionally, there were demands for political leaders to take measures to prevent further expansion of far-right influence.
