The former German Chancellor Olaf Scholz stated that the war between Ukraine and Russia will not end peacefully.
Scholz added: "I sincerely hope that it will be possible to quickly find a way to a peaceful resolution of the conflict, but you have to realistically look at the situation, it seems rather unlikely." These comments were made after Russia recognized the independence of two regions in eastern Ukraine.
