Experts have warned that some hair styling foam products contain the harmful substance «synthetic musk» (galaxolide). This is according to test results from the German magazine «Öko-Test», which specializes in testing goods and products. Galaxolide accumulates in human fatty tissues. Recently, concerns have been raised that it disrupts hormones. The European Union is currently reassessing it, with the possibility of classifying it as a «carcinogenic» substance. Additionally, this substance accumulates in the environment and can cause harm.
