Dairy Products Reduce Colon Cancer Risk

According to a study conducted by the University of Oxford with the participation of more than half a million women, dairy products contribute to the prevention of colorectal cancer. Among 97 products, dairy products such as yogurt and milk provide the best protection against colorectal cancer. According to this research, daily consumption of a glass of milk reduces the risk of developing it by 14%, while consuming 300 milligrams of calcium daily reduces the risk of developing bowel cancer by 17%.

It is noted that the relationship between the prevention of colorectal cancer and milk is largely related to calcium contained in milk. In connection with these products, rich in calcium, can also help protect against colorectal cancer. According to this data, colorectal cancer and rectal cancer arise in many parts of the world due to the consumption of red meat, such as processed meat, red meat, and alcohol.

The study also confirms that the consumption of two alcoholic beverages per day increases the risk of developing colorectal cancer by 15%, while consuming 30 grams of red meat and processed meat is associated with an increased risk of this cancer by 8%. Scientists say that the majority of colorectal cancer cases can be prevented by maintaining a healthy lifestyle and modifying diet.

And a diet that contains harmful products, such as processed and red meat, contributes to the development of this cancer.
