As people age, their skin becomes drier and sometimes it itches. These problems can be caused by dry skin, which can be alleviated with black tea. To do this, prepare a cup of black tea, let it steep for 10 minutes, then soak a piece of fabric in the tea, apply it to the itchy areas of the skin for a few minutes, then apply a moisturizer. You can use tea several times a day, but avoid applying it to open or inflamed areas of skin.

Elderly individuals often experience dryness in the mouth due to decreased saliva levels, caused by the side effects of certain medications, irritation from dental prosthetics, or improper placement of dental implants. For moisturizing and soothing the mouth, it is recommended to use a mouth rinse based on flax seeds and papaya. To do this, prepare a broth from flax seeds, then mix it with papaya extract and use it for rinsing the mouth a few times a day.

It is known that elderly individuals often have weak beta-agonist receptors, which slows down the digestive process and leads to constipation. Flaxseed oil can stimulate the activity of the intestines due to its content of mucilage. To prepare a drink, mix ground flaxseeds with liquid and let it steep for a few minutes, then strain it before eating, and then prop up your legs to avoid straining.

When elderly individuals have a cold, they can use onion juice, which possesses anti-inflammatory and moisturizing effects. To do this, grate a large onion, mix it with sugar or honey, let it sit in the fridge for a few hours, strain the juice, add lemon juice to taste, and take it by the spoonful throughout the day.

Cabbage leaves can help alleviate pain in the knee joints, you should do this twice a day using fresh cabbage leaves. Wrap the cabbage leaf around the knee, then cover it with a piece of fabric and secure it with a bandage, leave it for an hour or overnight, then remove the bandage, wash the area and apply moisturizer.
