Proofpoint, the cybersecurity and compliance company, has announced the official completion of its acquisition of Hornetsecurity. The European provider of AI-enhanced Microsoft 365 protection, backup, compliance, and security awareness solutions for managed service providers and small and medium-sized businesses is now part of the company. This deal allows Proofpoint to strengthen its presence in the small and medium-sized business market through Hornetsecurity's client base of over 125,000 customers.
