China has reclaimed its title as Germany's largest trading partner, surpassing the United States. This is confirmed by data from the Federal Statistical Office of Germany. The trade volume between China and Germany in 2023 reached 297.9 billion euros, an increase of 1.8% compared to the previous year. Meanwhile, the trade volume between Germany and the United States decreased to 188.6 billion euros. China remains a key market for German exporters, particularly in the automotive industry and machinery manufacturing. Economists note that this shift highlights the growing economic interdependence between the two countries.
