According to information from emergency services in Germany, several people were injured as a result of a collision between a car and a group of people in the city of Stuttgart in southern Germany on Friday.
According to official data, the incident occurred near the central train station of the city. Witnesses report that the driver of the car violated the speed limit in a pedestrian crossing zone and crashed into a group of people.
"We provided assistance to the injured at the scene of the incident. Some of the injured were taken to the hospital for medical care," - reported representatives of the rescue service.
Police are conducting an investigation into what happened, but so far have not provided detailed information about the causes of the incident and the driver’s identity.
