
As a result of the accident that occurred on Friday in the town of Stuttgart in southwestern Germany, the number of adult casualties has risen to one dead and seven injured. Police reported that the car targeted a group of people in the Ulygaik area in the center of the town. Initially, it was mentioned that three had been injured, some of whom were assessed as serious.
"At this moment, there is no evidence that it was a deliberate act or attack," a police spokesperson noted, adding that the driver of the vehicle was detained, but no further details were provided. It should be noted that German security forces are currently in a heightened state of alert.
Later it became known that one woman had died from her injuries. As a result, the number of injured has increased to eight people, three of whom are in serious condition.
