A police spokesperson explained on Tuesday morning that the 37-year-old man was supposed to be checked by police on Monday evening after he unsuccessfully tried to break into several cars, but he fled in another vehicle. During the chase, the man's car got stuck between a public transport bus and another vehicle, resulting in injuries to three people on the bus and three passengers in the car who suffered minor injuries or shock, according to the spokesperson. The fleeing driver remained trapped in the car, and rescue teams had to free him. He was then taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
