The police of Germany reported that they are searching for a man who left a bag with an explosive device at a train station in Berlin and fled after being stopped by the police.
According to police information, the incident occurred at the S-Bahn station in the Lichtenberg district on Tuesday evening. Police stopped a man for document verification, but he managed to flee, leaving the bag behind.
As a result of the incident, the station was evacuated and closed for several hours. Police conducted a search of the area with the help of specially trained dogs to ensure the safety of the location.
