
The guide to Emirates Airlines included a visit from the company's president, Tim Clark, as well as the vice president and general director, Adnan Kazim, the vice president for passenger transport sales and international management, Nabil Sultan, along with a delegation of high-ranking officials.
Among the guests were the mayor of Berlin, Kai Wegner, the coordinator of the federal government for maritime industry and tourism, the general secretary of the World Tourism Organization, Zurab Pololikashvili, the president and executive director of the Council on International Travel and Tourism, Julia Simson, the president of the German Tourism Association, Norbert Fiebig, and the general director of Messe Berlin, Dr. Mario Tovias.
Guests visited the Emirates stand during their official visit to the International Tourist and Travel Exhibition ITB Berlin 2025. They got acquainted with the latest innovations of the Emirates Airbus A350 aircraft cabin, first presented in Germany, as well as other renowned products of the airline, including the Emirates Gamechanger first-class cabin.
Emirates has been serving Germany since 1987, supporting tourism and economic activity in the market. For more than 20 years, the company has expressed interest in including Berlin in its international network direction and expanding its operations in Germany.
The vice president of Emirates for Northern and Central Europe, Volker Greinert, noted that ITB Berlin represents the largest event for Emirates outside its domestic market in Dubai. Over the course of three days, the airline plans to launch new strategic partnerships and expand existing collaborations with tourism organizations, airlines, and other key industry stakeholders in travel and tourism.
