According to the announcement, the Germany national team will retain Julian Nagelsmann as head coach until Euro 2028. The decision was made by the German Football Federation on Friday.
Nagelsmann joined the national team in August of this year after leaving "Leipzig". He replaced Joachim Löw, who led the national team from 2004 to 2021.
"I feel immensely inspired and motivated to work with this remarkable team, and I am glad that I have been given this opportunity," noted Nagelsmann.
Due to support from the players and the active role of Germany in the qualification for the World Cup, the federation decided to retain the coach until 2028.
