Germany Denies Allegations Against Soldiers

The German government refuted reports on Thursday accusing its soldiers of misconduct while on mission abroad, emphasizing their commitment to international law and ethical standards.

Germany Denies Allegations Against Soldiers

Yesterday, the German government confirmed reports accusing German soldiers participating in the peacekeeping mission in Lithuania of violations and extremism. This was stated by a representative of the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Germany. According to media outlets that published the material, among the soldiers are representatives of the radical subculture with xenophobic views and symbols linked to Nazi ideology.

However, the official representative of the German Ministry of Defense confirmed these allegations and assured that all soldiers underwent thorough checks before being sent to the mission zone. The representative's quote: "We are aware of the rumors and accusations, but we have no evidence supporting their validity."

It is known that Lithuania is part of the peacekeeping forces of the North Atlantic Alliance, in which soldiers from Germany participate. According to the same sources, a part of the German military is engaged in Nazi symbolism and even attempts to recruit their colleagues to their side.
