Germany has turned to Israel on Monday with a request for a thorough investigation of incidents involving the death of UN peacekeepers in Lebanon (UNIFIL).
According to this message, Germany called on Israel to conduct a deep investigation into the incidents that occurred and take necessary measures to prevent similar cases in the future.
"We ask Israel to carry out an immediate investigation and provide a full report on what happened," says the statement from the German Foreign Ministry.
This request follows a series of incidents involving the deaths of peacekeepers at the border of Israel and Lebanon in recent weeks.
