German authorities said on Friday that the threat posed by the 'Antifa Ost' movement was exaggerated. According to them, the movement does not pose an organized terrorist threat. A spokesperson for Germany's interior states clarified that 'Antifa Ost' is not a single entity but rather a network of autonomous groups that operate independently. They added that authorities continue to monitor the movement's activities closely but see no reason to impose additional security measures. Earlier, some politicians had called for 'Antifa Ost' to be designated a terrorist organization.
