The former German Chancellor Olaf Scholz stated that Germany will continue to support Ukraine as long as it is necessary. This came during their recent conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
Scholz also reaffirmed the importance of Ukrainian reforms and support on the country's path to democracy. In turn, Zelensky thanked Germany for its support and discussed the situation in eastern Ukraine, including security issues and development in the region. They also discussed the prospects for cooperation between countries in various fields.
"Germany will continue to support Ukraine as long as it is necessary," emphasized Scholz.
