On Monday, the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs called for the Syrian transitional government to take measures to prevent further atrocities and to conduct an independent investigation into the recent clashes that occurred not long ago.
The official representative of the German MFA stated: "We urge the Syrian transitional government to take necessary measures to prevent further acts of violence and to conduct an independent investigation into the incidents that occurred recently."
It was also noted that Germany expresses serious concern regarding recent clashes and calls for an international investigation involving the United Nations Organization.
