On Monday, Germany called on Israel to immediately lift the blockade on humanitarian aid supplies to the Gaza sector.
The representative of the German MIDA noted that such actions only exacerbate the situation of the population of the Palestinian territory, which is already in a difficult humanitarian situation. According to him, it is necessary to ensure regular access to humanitarian supplies for the Gazans.
"The blockade leads to a worsening humanitarian situation on the Western Bank and in the Gaza sector. We believe that everyone should have access to humanitarian aid, especially in the conditions of a pandemic," stated the representative of the German MIDA.
It should be noted that recently the situation in the Gaza sector has worsened due to limited supplies of electricity, drinking water, and medical supplies. Therefore, it is important to ensure regular access to the necessary resources to improve the humanitarian situation in the territory.
