The Law and Justice Party "Alternativa for Germany" confirmed that their country should remain distant from the Ukrainian-Russian crisis.
Senior party member, Helge Lings, stated: "For us, it is very important to maintain a clear understanding that Germany should not be drawn into this conflict. We support a policy of balancing and neutrality in this situation."
The party "Alternativa for Germany" believes that the country should refrain from participating in any military actions and from interfering in the conflict in Eastern Ukraine. This position has caused rifts within the parliamentary coalition, where opinions on the approach to the situation with Ukraine are divided.
