The former German Chancellor Olaf Scholz rejected any attempts of external interference in German elections.
According to Scholz, "Decisions that will be made in elections should be taken only by the citizens of Germany, and not by foreign governments or organizations."
He also added: "The German people have the right to independently make their own decisions. I do not allow any external influence on the elections."
