On Friday, the German Minister of Defense Boris Pistorius stated that it will be difficult for Europe to take responsibility for its own security without the USA. He emphasized the necessity of strengthening European defense and security.
Pistorius also stressed that Europe needs to be more active in taking responsibility for its own security. He noted that Europe must become self-sufficient, based on the current realities of international politics.
"Should we be able to resist such challenges without the help of our partners from NATO? My answer is - no," said Pistorius.
