This politician presented his address against the backdrop of increasing pressure on his party, the Christian Democratic Union (CDU), following its failures in recent public opinion polls. Merz, a former chairman of the management of the "Blackrock" company, believes that it is necessary to implement changes in the country to address future challenges.
