Katherine Reich, Germany's Minister of Economy, said on Tuesday that the procedures for releasing part of the national oil reserve are expected to be completed in the coming days. She added at a press conference: "We will launch part of the national oil reserve to the markets in coordination with other member countries of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development". The minister also stated: "The procedures for releasing the oil reserve are still ongoing, and we will complete them in the next few days".
