Munich Airport reported that a strike organized by the trade union has caused the cancellation of approximately 350 flights. The airport recommends that passengers contact airlines for the latest information on the status of their flights.
The main demands of the union include an increase in wages and improved working conditions for the staff serving passengers and the support personnel. As a result of the strike, delays and flight cancellations are expected to continue for several days.
"We apologize for the possible inconveniences caused by the current situation and urge passengers to show understanding and patience," commented airport representatives.
