Following a daring bank robbery in the German city of Gelsenkirchen, dozens of reports received by the police have so far not yielded any strong leads pointing to the perpetrators. A police spokesperson stated that there are certainly things that cannot be disclosed at this time due to investigative methods, expressing regret that «there is no really strong lead at the moment». He said the police remain very grateful for any information related to the case, adding: «We welcome all of this information and will of course take it into account in our investigations». The value of the stolen goods was initially estimated at around 30 million euros, but it could be much higher.
