Egyptian national team footballer Omar Marmoush, playing for Eintracht Frankfurt, suffered an injury in the UEFA match against "Marseille". The player was diagnosed with a ruptured cruciate ligament, which will require surgery and a lengthy recovery. Marmoush will be sidelined for several months.
"This is, of course, a terrible injury. I am disappointed, but this is part of football. I believe I will come back stronger than ever," shared the footballer.
Omar Marmoush moved to Eintracht Frankfurt from "Bort" last month and has already managed to make a name for himself, scoring his first goal in the starting line-up of the new team in a Bundesliga match against "Stuttgart". The Egyptian defender became an important player for the German club and his injury is a serious blow to the team.
