
In Germany, accusations have expanded regarding a medic who allegedly killed patients in a hospice to improve her work performance. According to the words of a representative of the regional court in the city of Aachen, it was announced in a subpoena that the prosecution presented additional charges in connection with the suspicion that the medic killed four more patients and attempted to do so in other nine cases over the course of several months.
A 44-year-old man is currently facing charges of committing nine murders and 34 attempted murders, presenting himself as his victims with lethal doses of anesthetics or sedative agents. It is suggested that the motive for the crimes was the desire of the person to work on night shifts and spend minimal effort on patients.
He is also presented with charges for repeat attempts at murder of some patients. According to the given charges, all these crimes were committed between December 2023 and May 2024. The court proceedings for the man are scheduled for March 24 of the current year and will begin with the initial charge of 30 counts, including five murders and 25 counts of attempted murder.
According to the words of the press secretary of the court, a decision has not yet been made, and new circumstances included in the current court proceedings may arise.
